End User License Agreement

• •This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and MacroFamily for the MacroFamily application, including any updates and accompanying documentation.
• •By downloading, installing, or using the app, you accept the terms of this EULA. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the app.
• •This EULA works together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Where they overlap, this EULA governs your license to use the software itself.

• •You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
• •You may use the app on the number of devices permitted by the store you purchased or downloaded it from.
• •This license does not include any right to use MacroFamily branding, logos, or content outside the app itself.

• •You may not copy, rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the app.
• •You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• •You may not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, or use the app to build a competing product.
• •You may not use automated systems or scripts to access the app's features, generate content, or circumvent usage limits.

• •MacroFamily and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the app, including all intellectual property rights.
• •Content you create, such as recipes, meal plans, logs, and pantry entries, remains yours. You grant us the rights needed to store, process, and display it as part of running the service.
• •Recipes and plans generated by AI features are provided for your personal use within the app.

• •Premium features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the app store you downloaded the app from, or our web payment provider.
• •Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• •You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• •Refunds are handled by the store or payment provider according to their policies. We do not process refunds directly.

• •The app relies on third-party services, including artificial intelligence providers for meal planning and nutrition estimation. Those services may change or become unavailable.
• •The app is obtained through an app store, and your use is also subject to that store's terms of service.
• •We may release updates that change or remove features, and may require you to install an update to continue using the app.

• •The app provides general nutrition information and estimates. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified health professional.
• •Nutrition values, calorie estimates, and AI photo analysis are approximate and may contain errors.
• •Always verify ingredients against your allergies and dietary restrictions before preparing or eating a meal.

• •The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
• •We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that data will never be lost.
• •Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

• •To the maximum extent permitted by law, MacroFamily is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
• •Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
• •Nothing in this EULA limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

• •This EULA is between you and MacroFamily only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• •Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• •Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.
• •You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• •Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.

• •This license is effective until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach any of its terms, or if you delete the app and close your account.
• •On termination you must stop using the app. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.
• •You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your stored data as described in our Privacy Policy.

• •This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MacroFamily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
• •We may update this EULA from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
